Ever wonder what happened to the smart-ass kids from high school detention hall? They grew up to be us. Only now we have keyboards, the Internet and more curiosity than a 12-year-old boy with a skin mag. And while the teachers were wrong – we didn’t end up on drugs and in jail – we are junkies, all the same.

We’re amazed by the truth, addicted to the infinite details of everyday life. We can’t get enough of the things people do, the places we see.

This site comes from a drive to chronicle. We have two simple goals: to find the stories that interest us – and others, we hope – and tell them back to our readers as best we can.

It's not Journalism with a capital J, but it's accurate and timely all the same. The site's staffed by professional writers and journalists, covering a variety of subjects with insight and irreverence.
