New Airline Site for Travel to the Azores

Azores Express has launched a new travel Web portal that makes booking a ticket or checking an airfare to Portugal as simple as a click of a mouse. The new site at www.azores-express.com offers travel information on the Azores, airfare quotes and reservations, special pricing, and updates on events and packages to the Azores.

Azores Express has connected New England with the Azores for more than 17 years. The carrier is part of the SATA Group, which serves the Azores, an autonomous region of Portugal. SATA, founded in 1946, offers connecting service to all nine islands in the Azores, Madeira, and Lisbon and Porto on mainland Portugal. Azores Express offers year-round service from Boston, and summer service from Providence, Rhode Island.

The archipelago of the Azores, the closest point in Europe to New England, consists of nine islands. The sapphire blue and emerald green lakes, fertile prairies, volcanic cones and craters, colorful hydrangeas and azaleas, 15th century churches and majestic manor houses make the Azores unlike anywhere else on earth. The islands have year-round mild climate (between 57°F and 71°F).

For more information and reservations, contact your travel agent, or Azores Express at 800-762-9995, www.azores-express.com.
