Employers to Save Millions with Free Job Postings

Frustrated and tired of the internet and job posting sites, one person said enough is enough. His employees chuckled as he gathered them in his office to show them what he wanted to build. He drew a diagram of a website and network on his window with a dry erase marker. "This is what I want to build, a free national network for every city in the US." All in the office were quiet. Finally one employee spoke up and said, "We get it, you're going to save the world, can we go back to work now?"

This is what I want to build, a free national network for every city in the US.

For most people the thought would have simply gone away, but he wouldn't let it die. 18 months later and after thousands of hours of research and talking to other business owners, the project hits the internet. Many are calling CityEverything refreshing.

The CityEverything network is said to be unlike any project ever released to date. Unlike most posting sites each city and state have their own website. While CityEverything.com is the main base, posters in Boston would post on BostonEverything.com. Live in Atlanta? Go to AtlantaEverything.com. The developers say this is just one way to help avoid spam postings and keep the content relevant and local.

All postings must be a salaried job or hourly wage. No commission only or business opportunities. The sites are the first not to allow any hyperlinks or email addresses. All communication is done through private messaging centers each user gets for free. Vetter the founder of the sites said, "We get emails every day from people wondering how they pay for their listings. I guess they're just used to paying. We simply tell them there is no way to pay us; the system is free so enjoy it."

When you consider the massive area these sites (300+) cover, the possible savings is enormous for employers. Just play with some simple numbers. 100 job postings times the number of sites and that is over 30,000 postings a month. Considering the average posting on a major employment site is $350 the savings per month is well over $10 million. Those types of numbers get noticed.

The overall theme is felt throughout the sites. No junk, no adult postings and spammers beware. Vetter said, "We looked at the successful sites like Craigslist and CareerBuilder. Then we looked at the problems they faced or what users didn't like about them. We simply tried to improve or remove those issues. We have a long way to go but we are please with our BETA launch."

You can visit your local site by starting at
CityEverything . Users can post to the employment listings or any of the classified sections for free.
