Alijor Announces Launch of E-mail Notification

Alijor, an organization dedicated to helping patients find local doctors online, announced today the launch of e-mail notification. Providers can now be notified with an e-mail when a patient posts a need in their specialty and location.

We enable patients to post their needs and have doctors respond to them with various price and service options.

The e-mail notification will allow patients the opportunity to receive specialized, local healthcare more quickly and efficiently. The automatic e-mail notification will notify doctors in the patient’s specialty and location that a medical need has been posted. Instead of the patient waiting for a doctor to respond to his or her post on Alijor’s message board, doctors will be able to respond more quickly as the email notifications are sent out immediately after a patient posts a need.

The email notification will give doctors direct access to patients with medical concerns in the doctor’s area. Doctors choose to be notified based on the specialty patients post their need in and the distance the patient is willing to travel to receive healthcare.

"Alijor brings healthcare to the patient as opposed to the patient having to search for healthcare options," says Scott. "Rather than the patient having to search in a directory, the doctor comes to the patient."

The e-mail notification upgrade reinforces the site’s mission to provide a convenient, hassle-free method for patients to connect to local healthcare providers at no cost to the patient or healthcare provider. This upgrade will improve communication and healthcare between patients and doctors in a way that no other organization utilizes.
