AeroGuard™ MIMO Wireless Technology for Business Reaches First Anniversary
August 17, 2005 -- SOHOware announced the first anniversary of AeroGuard™, a MIMO wireless technology solution that has been received with swelling endorsement by value-added resellers (VARs) and wireless Internet service providers (WISPs) who have rolled out hundreds of deployments taking advantage of MIMO wireless technology.
AeroGuard MIMO wireless technology resellers are showing tangible results. Nick Rainwater, Director of Technology for International Police Technologies, a SOHOware specialty VAR, has successfully opened new business opportunities in the mobile video surveillance market for Law Enforcement. Rainwater said of MIMO wireless technology performance, “Previously, we achieved a maximum of only 22Mbps throughput per AP with 108Mbps rated products, which was unacceptably slow for the file sizes we needed to archive.
