New FindSavings.com RSS Feeds Transform Shopping Online, Saving Consumers Time and Money

Yorba Linda, CA  July 6, 2005 -- FindSavings.com has taken a step in the right direction by using RSS (Really Simple Syndication) to further help consumers find exactly what they need to save money and time. The RSS feeds provide online coupons and information updated dynamically from shopping Web sites. Consumers and blog owners can read these files in a program known as an aggregator, which is provided through sites like My Yahoo!, Bloglines and Klipfolio. The consumer selects the online coupons and information that they want via the RSS and it is pulled into a customized Web page specific for that person's shopping interest.

Many consumers search the Internet for products they want to buy, yielding thousands of Web site results to sift through. But instead of having to search for products and deals, RSS finds it and sends it to the consumer automatically.

FindSavings.com provides RSS feeds that display coupons for all of their retail department stores. If a user is interested in Best Buy coupons and is signed up with My Yahoo!, getting the Best Buy RSS coupon feed is as simple as going to
http://www.findsavings.com/coupons/Best-Buy-Coupons.asp and clicking on the Best Buy RSS button. This pushes the shopping coupons to the user whenever they're available. All other RSS feeds for FindSavings.com, such as Gateway, Expedia or general category feeds (e.g., apparel or electronics), can be found at http://www.findsavings.com/RSS/.

"The benefit of RSS feeds is that it's unnecessary to continuously visit different sites or even visit FindSavings.com, for that matter," says Richard Booth, CEO and founder of FindSavings.com. “I want our visitors to have the best experience in locating coupons and discounts for their favorite online stores. This means we have to provide shoppers with all kinds of tools and choices to meet their goals, from e-mail newsletters and the Web site directory to new technologies like RSS.”

For consumers and blog owners looking to aggregate coupons and special offers into one location, resources like
www.FindSavings.com and its RSS feeds are making it happen.

FindSavings.com is a privately held company headquartered in Yorba Linda, Calif. For more information, please visit their site at
