AxisTV to Deliver Syndicated Data Streams from Allheadlinenews.com
Atlanta, GA May 5, 2005 -- TEi (Tech Electronics, Inc.) announced that it has reached an agreement with Allheadlinenews.com to deliver a wide range of news, weather, financial market and entertaining content to AxisTV Channel Players.
The new data feed services will enable clients to automatically populate digital signs with relevant and timely content. In the digital signage arena, where quality content is crucial, automated data feeds further reduce the content creation burden typically relegated to marketing departments or other support personnel.
“Data feed services have been in demand for some time and high on our development list. We are excited about the prospect of delivering syndicated dynamic news and entertaining content at a highly competitive price point,” stated Trey Hicks, Director of Sales and Marketing, TEi. “These new services will undoubtedly increase viewership without the burdening requirement of additional content creation," furthered Hicks.
The data feed service will be available in July 2005. The company will begin to sell the service in late May 2005 and offer promotional discounts during the pre-sales period. Single data feeds will be available from $59.99 per month, per Channel Player. The audio and video output from a Channel Player can be distributed to any number of displays without increasing the cost of the data feeds. The service is compatible with AxisTV versions 5.1.1 and newer.
Subscribers can choose from a variety of products and bundles including:
• News: Current headlines and article summaries to keep you abreast of current news stories.
• Weather: Display live local and international weather for up-to-date forecasts that affect your day
• Horoscopes: Access automatically updating daily horoscopes
• Today in History: Provides a daily summary of news and notable events and occurrences
• Markets: Feed of US market index data. Delayed 15 Minutes
• Quote of the Day: Automatically updating daily quote, selected from our database of over 140,000 famous and/or inspiring quote database.
Users can choose, register, configure and pay for the service through the newly launched e-commerce store within the official TEi website.
