Stockton, CA  April 22, 2005 – Mother Nature just went digital. In celebration of Earth Day, Top Ten Wholesale (http://www.TopTenWholesale.com) is donating a portion of their Earth Day business to environmental charities, including Greenpeace, the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and the Nature Conservancy. The founders of Top Ten Wholesale are hoping to firmly establish online advertising as the best choice for wholesalers, in part because of its environmental benefits. topwholesale.jpg

“Efficiency is what we strive for every day, in business and in life,” noted Top Ten Wholesale chief executive Jason Prescott. “Recycling and conservation don’t exist just to make me feel good, the concepts make sense from all angles. Online advertising uses far fewer natural resources than traditional media, an enormous cost advantage that gets passed back to the advertiser. If we recognize these facts as a company, it’s easy to see that we need to do our part to further the conservation movement.”

Top Ten Wholesale will donate 50% of their online income for Earth Day to notable environmental charities, like Greenpeace and the World Wildlife Fund. Earth Day is the best time to raise awareness of the donation, according to traffic coordinator Joe Preston.

“Companies like us that want to highlight their involvement in community and society can leverage the power of online promotion to benefit society. If I want to connect to retailers and resellers about our wholesale web site’s commitment to the environment, then Earth Day is the best day to do it. Traditional media doesn’t like to pay that much attention to the environment except on Earth Day.”
