“StarDoc” Author Lynn Viehl Launches Dark Fantasy Web Site
Orlando, FL November 22, 2004 – Multi-genre author Lynn Viehl announces the launch of www.Darkyn.com, the official web site for her debut dark fantasy novel series published by Signet Eclipse, an imprint of New American Library. The site was designed by Metro DMA, the prestigious firm that created web sites for Stephen King and “La Boheme” on Broadway.
Darkyn.com combines the latest innovations in web site design with user-friendly navigation to showcase Viehl’s newest novel series. The site also provides Viehl’s fans and readers with news about her latest work, excerpts from her featured titles and links to purchase books from her collection. Viehl plans to stop in to the site’s chat room and discussion boards frequently to chat and connect with her fans.
“Everything about the Darkyn site revolves around the two things most important to me-- the books and the readers,” Viehl explained in an interview about the site launch. “That’s what I wanted.”
About Lynn Viehl In addition to writing eight novels in 2004, Viehl spent months researching and developing the Darkyn.com project. “The three hurricanes that hit us this summer didn’t help much,” she said. “I lost two computers and did most of my work on a battery-operated PDA.” Nevertheless, she continued the writing pace she has sustained since her professional debut in 2000 with the bestselling science fiction novel “StarDoc.” Since then, Viehl has published twenty-five novels in five different genres. The novels “If Angels Burn” and “Private Demon” comprise two of the seven titles debuting in 2005.
