MyOldContacts.com Makes Losing Touch a Thing of the Past

Plano, TX November 4, 2004 -- MyOldContacts.Com allows individuals to enter friends, family and business contacts old e-mail addresses into a database. The service works similar to a private online e-mail system. As this database grows, the better the odds of finding a match for all parties. When a match does occur MyOldContacts.com notifies the individuals. Parties continue to communicate via the website until they feel comfortable enough to give out their new e-mail address. However this is optional.

“Privacy is our major concern. Although millions of e-mail addresses will eventually be collected, none will ever be available for public viewing,” adds Reed. No e-mail addresses are ever displayed to other users. All contact is done via the website message system.

MyOldContacts.com can also assist with instant messaging IDs, CompuServe IDs and Prestel mailbox numbers. The possibilities are limitless. The projected user base is estimated to be one million by the end of 2005 and ten million by the end of 2008.

Nigel Reed and Nick Phillips, both former telecommunications employees, founded MyOldContacts.Com Reed has 18 years in the IT industry including production, research & development and medical environments. He now owns Sysadmin, Inc, (
www.sysadmininc.com) a computer consulting company located in Plano, Texas.

Phillips has 10 years of IT experience in corporate and educational settings. He maintains @Maritimers.ca Consulting, (
www.maritimers.ca), a software consulting firm in Windsor, Nova Scotia.

This new venture builds on their extensive experience in developing scalable solutions to meet the needs of their customers. The concept was founded out of sheer frustration of losing contact with old friends and business associates in the last several years due to out dated e-mail addresses.
