GrandRapidsLive.com Introduces Fully Automated Classified Ads for the West Michigan Area
August 5, 2004 -- GrandRapidsLive.com has announced the addition of an automated classified ads section to its website. West Michigan residents will now have the ability to easily post classified ads online in nine different categories including personals, real estate, apartments, autos, watercraft, rummage sales, services, pets and animals, and merchandise. Those interested in advertising an item will be able to log in and create a personal account and id. The customer can then decide on a title and description for the item, upload a picture, and pay securely online with a credit card. Each item listed will have its own detailed full page and unlimited ad edits, setting itself apart from competitors. The posted listings will be easily searchable by visitors browsing for items in particular categories, such as apartments or autos.
Depending on category, ads will be priced as low as $9.95 for 30 days, much less than other forms of classified advertising. Plus, those who sign up before May 31 will receive one trial month free. “We wanted to offer something for the Grand Rapids community that didn’t before exist, namely a way for people to post classified ads and save money over competitors such as newspapers and magazines. You get a larger picture, a longer description and more for your money,” said GrandRapidsLive.com creator Josh Depenbrok.
GrandRapidsLive.com was created in 2003 as an online destination and directory for the Grand Rapids, MI area. The site features over fifteen sections of information including restaurants, events, arts & entertainment and local venues. In addition, surfers can check movie times, purchase concert tickets or find a real estate agent.
