Registration opened May 15th, 2004, but the actual television broadcasts are scheduled to begin in Fall 2004. This is when Win Your Own TV Show is set to purchase airtime from Fox and UPN affiliate stations across the U.S.
Any other interested television networks are encouraged to contact WinYourOwnTVshow for programming. Since WinYourOwnTVshow is not a syndicated network program, they have the freedom to air on any station they wish.
Jennings said, “The concept of WinYourOwnTVshow.com is simple. The more people that join the website, the more television markets our show can expand to. This is an honest website and you have nothing to fear by joining. We charge a one time fee to create your online picture profile, and that money primarily goes back into the show for expansion."
He continued, "Many people don't understand how we can air on UPN or Fox affiliate stations and we are not syndicated. Well, the truth is we independently purchase our airtime and it allows us a lot of freedom and creative control. Unless a Network would allow us to maintain creative control, I don't think we would jump on any bandwagons."
"I feel at this stage of the process we need the news media to interact with us more. Because what we are doing has never been done before."
He went on to say, “I decided to make my move on the entertainment industry this year. I have a soft place in my heart for average people with extraordinary dreams. I want to become a conduit between common people and television, radio, internet media and print magazine. I decided to focus on a few great concepts to begin with. So I created a TV show that is Internet supported for broad access, avant-garde and I think it is going to be the talk of the whole nation. It’s actually a cyclical process which creates TV shows. Within 2-3 years it creates a whole TV Network.”
The WinYourOwnTVshow.com database will also serve as an Entertainment Industry talent pool. It will be made available to select major Networks, Production Companies, Casting Agencies, Model Agencies, Record Companies and other Media Outlets.
The Executive Producers of Win Your Own TV Show are known as “The Cipher”. Their previous TV and Radio shows were called, "The Cipher Show".
