Sabratec Announces the First Integration of Microsoft IBF with Legacy Systems through ApplinX
Sabratec Ltd., the leading provider of rapid legacy integration solutions, announced today general availability of ApplinX adapter for Microsoft Information Bridge Framework (IBF). The combined solution enables information workers to discover, engage, and act on enterprise legacy information from the context of their Office documents and email, significantly improving productivity and reducing training costs.
“The new adapter, a result of joint efforts by Microsoft and Sabratec, delivers the first solution in the market that opens access from within Microsoft Office System to legacy applications and data residing on IBM mainframes and other legacy systems,” said Orna Mintz-Dov, Sabratec CEO. The integrated solution, already successfully implemented at a large financial institution, will be demonstrated by Sabratec at Microsoft Tech-Ed 2004 in San Diego. The combined solution is also available at Microsoft’s labs for demonstration purposes.
