Neverland Poetry Artist Network accepts bid from Snazzy
Snazzy Website Design (www.snazzywebsite.com) announced today it has acquired the award wining Neverland Poetry Artist Network (www.neverlandpoetry.com), including the networks gay and lesbian site, GayPoet.com. Neverland Poetry was founded in 2000, by poet Brian Finch and originally launched in June of that same year. During its first month online, the website received national recognition from The National Library of Poetry (US), in which it was awarded a “Cool Site Award”, before going off line in March 2001.
Since it's June 2003 resurrection, Neverland Poetry has won a handful of awards and has been billed as the next ‘Internet hot spot’ for poets and artists. Snazzy announced its plans to completely redesign the look and feel of Neverland Poetry; its anthology and art gallery, as well as expanding its services. Snazzy also announced it will cancel GayPoet.com and merge most of GayPoet’s features onto the Neverland Poetry site. The redesigned look of Neverland Poetry is expected to be revealed next year and expanded services are to include a large section for gay and lesbian issues.
