InBoxer Stopped More Spam Than Any Other Product in PC World’s Review of Nine Spam Filters

MEDIA ADVISORY – Audiotrieve’s InBoxer outperformed all competitors by blocking 98.7% of spam in PC World’s extensive testing of anti spam filters soon to be published in the magazine’s June 2004 issue. InBoxer mistook only one real message from an individual user for spam.

“InBoxer's accuracy impressed me. The program let 26 out of 2135 spam messages--or about 1.3 percent--slip through. This level of accuracy puts InBoxer ahead of some sophisticated and expensive corporate filters,” said Logan Harbaugh, the writer who tests spam filtering tools for InfoWorld and PC World.

The 4-1/2 star ranking in PC World continues the high ratings received in published reviews for InBoxer. In the past several months, InBoxer has won the following awards:

-    Recommandé, l’Ordinateur individuel
-    Best on Test, ComputerActive
-    Editor's Choice, Personal Computer World
-    Best Buy, Personal Computer World
-    Gold, PC Advisor
-    6 Stars, PC Pro
-    4 Envelopes, Spamotomy

PC World. the most widely-read technology or business magazine (7.1-million readers), compared InBoxer to Aladdin Systems’ SpamCatcher, Cloudmark’s SpamNet, Lyris Technologies’ MailShield, Network Associates’ McAfee SpamKiller, Panda Software’s Platinum Internet Security, Sunbelt Software’s IHateSpam, Symantec’s Norton AntiSpam 2004, and Trend Micro’s PC-cillin Internet Security 2004.

InBoxer requires Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Outlook. A 21 day free trial is available immediately from http://www.inboxer.com. The product has a list price of $27.95.
