Iconica Adds Local Websites Serving the UK, Germany, France, and Italy
Already one of the world's most popular new resources for stock imagery after its highly successful October 2003 launch, Iconica (www.iconica.com) continues its rapid expansion this month by localizing the website for the UK, and adding accessibility in three new languages: German, French, and Italian.
Due to surprisingly high interest in Iconica's ever-expanding collection of images worldwide, this localization was a vital next step. With enhanced online services, the UK-, German-, French-, and Italian-versions bring Iconica to a wider audience of customers, giving clients the convenience of searching for images and reading all other site information in their native languages.

The additional language versions are automatically invoked by the user's browsers or are easily accessible from a pull-down menu on Iconica's home page at www.Iconica.com. In either case, the site defaults to the user's locale in all subsequent visits. As an added benefit of the site's new language features, clients will find that image-usage prices are listed in Euros or Pounds Sterling depending on their country of registration. Spanish and Portuguese versions of the site are currently under construction, and Iconica will soon be available in Japanese as well, through parent company Amana America's portal site at www.amana.jp.
