Eastpoint AB (publ) Daughter Company Getupdated -- headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden -- took a significant step to broaden its business by officially acquiring French Search Engine Marketing Company OptiWORDS. OptiWORDS focuses on the French speaking region and for the next 12 month, its expected turnover is promising.
OptiWORDS , founded by entrepreneur Cédric Ménard, is a fast-growing company whose main focus has been Search Engine Marketing for French companies. The purchase of OptiWORDS is part of the shift under way at Eastpoint (Getupdated) to become one of the largest Search Engine Optimization/ Internet marketing companies in Europe.
Eastpoint (Getupdated) has already made three strategic Internet marketing technology acquisitions in Sweden on the 1st half of this year. Now as Getupdated focuses on its international expansion, OptiWORDS serves as a ground base to continue expansion in Europe and soon the United States with the acquisition of eTrafficJams.
